Bolt is an animated comedy that was released in 2008. The movie follows the adventures of the dog called Bolt who has spent his whole life on the set of a television show and subsequently believes that he possesses the super powers portrayed on the show.

When he believes that his human, Penny, has been kidnapped, he accidentally gets shipped to New York City and sets out on a cross-country journey to "rescue" her, making friends along the way.
